This itty
bitty 5 foot bundle of energy comes on stage in her pink
dress and purple boa with her blond hair in a curly bun
with sweeping bangs and she “knocks em dead”.
Steve Smith and Bill Irvine are major contributors
to the group with their musicianship. Bill’s vocalization
of Caldonia is a rip.
...it’s just good listening and plain "lots
of fun".

The Big
Joe Turner Birthday Bash in May was the unofficial kick-off
of the 2006 festival season – as well as a chance
to see old friends coming out of winter hibernation. More
frequently than, "Hi, great to see you," I received
the comment, "WHERE have THEY been?!!"
Look out – AnnaLee & the Lucky So and Sos are
no longer Kansas City's best-kept secret in the band department!
Get out to hear them live... you’ll be knocked out!

Anna Lee and the Lucky So-n-Sos
provided a spirited and lively performance that earned rave
reviews from our guests. They were a great addition to our
Jazz on the Square concert series.

Hi David,
We were all very impressed with your music and had a blast
dancing to it. I told Hilary: "Maybe we could talk
them into playing at least a few songs that suck, just to
give us a break"

A lot people have told me how much they enjoyed
the Big Joe Turner Show and how impressed they were with
your band. I think you gained a good number of new fans
that day.

Hello Bill! I cannot thank you enough for being
a part of our wedding. EVERY ONE of our guests had a ball,
loved your band and countless people wanted to know where
I "found" you. The music was better than I'd ever
imagined. I know plenty of New Yorkers who'd love to have
you around for their parties...
